Use of our moorings is a benefit of membership. There are five (5) first come first serve moorings available in Seguin Cove (Two are currently missing their buoys due to winter weather so please be patient as we have divers search for and restore them). One (1) additional “BRAVO” mooring is also at the end of the cove that is capable of mooring boats up to 130′.  Our moorings are inspected annually and have pendants to secure your boat.  While we do maintain and inspect the moorings, use of the moorings is at your own risk.

Please be aware that there is a non-active power cable running through the cove that once provided power to this Coast Guard Station. We therefore don’t allow anchoring in the cove, not from any electrical risk but from the probability of you snagging the cable and losing your anchor. Lobstering is also active in and around the cove and we wish to protect their gear from damage due to anchoring across their lines.

BRAVO Mooring – Due to the exposure of this mooring, Bravo is intended to be a “day use only” mooring with a watch stander remaining on board at all times. Bravo may be reserved at times for planned visits by training, educational, or research vessels.

In order to ensure continued maintenance of the moorings and allow for the maximum number of visitors to the island, we have time restrictions and a recommended donation for non-members to use our moorings.
